Gary and Sheila studied and met at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design,
London, forming Wright & Teague in 1984.
They are inspired aesthetically and intellectually by the premier role enjoyed by
jewellery in all societies, tribal, modern and ancient, its deep rooted spiritual
connection to ritual and heritage and love to design and make jewellery that has a
strong narrative and personality.
The divergent forms of harmony and vibration are explored to imbue the work with
an resonate energy where art, craft and fashion binds the artisanal with the cerebral.
Collaborations include work with World Gold Council, Gemfields, British Museum,
Swarovski, Hera Bronze Age research and Oxfam.
Jewellery in the collection of the V&A, London.
