Always a lover of Vintage, Julia Cameron would often visit auctions around the country and source interesting pieces in flea markets in Paris to add to her collections. She sold various pieces to high end vintage shops and then decided to focus on jewellery, particularly art deco pieces and statement pieces from the 80s.
Her love of headpieces is reflected in her own bohemian style. Her pieces are heavily influenced by some of her vintage jewellery collection and also by the ethereal beauties that were adorned in images of women taken by her great great grandmother the late pioneer photographer Julia Margaret Cameron. Her notable subjects included Tennyson, Darwin and her niece Virgina Woolf. The way she adorned both men and women particularly with beautiful and intricate headpieces is a style that has been relaunched in the 21st century within Julia’s own designs. Julia's latest collection includes bodychains, hand pieces, chain rings and sword Pendents.
Julia plans to expand her design label into further jewellery collections and has also set up Adorn Til Dusk Ltd which she plans to expand in 2013 to include collections from other emerging artists and designers.
