Acclaimed chocolatier William Curley and internationally renowned tea specialist JING have started a joint venture to create a bespoke, limited edition tea and chocolate set in order to celebrate London Chocolate Week.
This magnificent combination which is paired with the Wuyi Collection will be ready to buy online and at the William Curley boutiques from the 13th October until Christmas.
JING tea is a decadent tea with notes of roasted nuts, chocolates and smooth muscovado while William Curley’s chocolate is an award winning chocolate - together this is a great temptation for tea and chocolate enthusiasts alike.
JING’s Wuyi Oolong tea has a roasted yet smooth texture that perfectly compliments William Curley’s chocolate. Running parallel with the Chinese Gong Fu tea tradition, Oolong teas are grown in mineral rich soils thus abundant in flavour complexity.
This season Wuyi Oolong brings you a Water Sprite (ShuiXian) flavour that has been teased out by tea masters which in turn gives you a revival autumnal taste along with fragrances of rose and peach.
Wuyi Caramel: Combines a deep chocolate infusing caramel with amazing complexity as well as aroma of JING Wuyi Oolong tea. This gives rise to hazelnut, floral and autumnal fruit notes.
Muscovado Caramel: This is an award winning recipe that brings a deep molasses flavour to the caramel. Recognized by the Academy of Chocolate in 2011, this flavour creates an indulgent and rich texture. When paired with the JING Oolong tea this is an extremely moreish combination.
Piedmont Hazelnut: This flavour is prepared by the finest hazelnuts available, sourced from northern Italy. Along with the best hazelnut, feuilliantine, a thin wafer is also added that creates a satisfying crunchy texture. Together they symbolize the nuttiness of the JING Wuyi Oolong.
