Having luxury Afternoon Tea is certainly an ultimately English pastime and epitomises the attention to detail and search for perfection that derfines the very best of English cuisine. More than one hundred years ago, this luxury London hotel embarked on an exciting journey to master the perfect Afternoon Tea with the result being a truly divine Afternoon Tea brewed and baked with incomparable passion and dedication from each and every Goring Chef spanning over many generations.

The Goring Afternoon Tea now continues to improve to this day with expert ‘tearistas’ sourcing tea leaves from rustic single estates in Sri Lanka to the spectacular misty foothills of the Himalayas, every tea brewed is tasted weekly by the designated Tea Master - none other than Mr Goring himself.

We certainly cannot forget the savoury and pastry treats that superb pastry chefs have worked on tirelessly to ensure they perfectly complement the range of fine teas and infusions.

The Traditional Afternoon Tea Menu at The Goring is as follows:

Sandwiches

Chicken Caesar

Ham & Mustard

Egg Mayonnaise & Watercress
