Paralympics Opening Ceremony

The Paralympics Opening Ceremony due to take place in less than 36 hours will be jam packed with exciting performances, inspirations from William Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' and  tribute to Britain's history of science and discovery, all taking place at The Olympic Park.  

The Paralympics are a celebration of the efforts of the best disabled athletes around the world. There will be 4280 athletes taking part in the games, the largest number ever for the Paralympics games till date. It is an important event that highlights the achievements and knowledge that people from all nationalities and backgrounds have attained so far.   

London will once again be a centre of exciting events and activities. If you are looking to be a part of the Opening Ceremony you can always head to Hyde Park and Trafalgar Square to watch the ceremony whilst also enjoy with friends at a pub or restaurant.   

It's not too late to come down to London and book yourselves in to a hotel near Mayfair, Knightsbridge or Covent Garden.
