BT has launched the BT ArtBox project to celebrate the 25th anniversary of ChildLine which will be a vast, open-air art exhibition which is set to take over London’s streets this summer from the 18th of June to the 16th of July. These amazing Art Boxes have taken inspiration from the Gilbert Scott-designed original K6 kiosk, BT have engaged with over 80 leading talents to re-style the iconic red telephone box, in their own creative way.

Each BT ArtBox artist has transformed a full-size, fibre-glass replica of the original telephone kiosk. From dawn until dusk on 15th of June, a selection of BT Art Boxes were on  public display at Trafalgar Square, after which they have now being moved to landmark locations around the capital, including Covent Garden, St.Pancras International, Carnaby Street, Heathrow, Broadgate, Speakers Corner on Park Lane, Bond Street and at the Tower of London.

It’s an exciting campaign that thrives on the nation’s artistic talent. The Art Boxes will be then auctioned off to raise money for ChildLine’s 25th anniversary.
