2012 London Jewellery Week promises to be the UK’s biggest and brightest jewellery festival and will take place from the Monday the 11th until the Sunday the 17th of June 2012. London Jewellery Week is in its fifth year and the festival will continue to celebrate London’s unique heritage and reputation for cutting edge jewellery design. Pandora is the headline sponsor of London Jewellery Week. The goal of this year’s event is to showcase London’s diverse Jewellery Sector, from luxury brands to emerging designers.
The 2012 London Jewellery week will take place a week earlier than previous years and will also be moved to a exciting new location, the amazing Somerset Houseone one of London's most historic venues, a platform for buyers and press to view the launch of autumn/winter 2012 collections and catch glimpses of the range of collections for spring/summer 2013. Somerset House is home to the famous London Fashion Week; the Tiffany sponsored inter ice rink and is the perfect venue for the London Jewellery Week, these changes to the 2012 festival will offer an exciting new direction for the week.
Leading Ethical Jewellery Designers Cred Jewellery, Linnie McLarty, Erica Sharpe and Jon Dibben will be showcasing their latest Fairtrade and Fairmined gold collections alongside other jewellers at Essence, the ethical jewellery pavilion at Treasure, Somerset House, 14-17 June 2012.
The 2012 official trade partners of London Jewellery Week will be The Jewellery Show; they will host a two day trade event which will take place at Somerset House from the 12th to the 13th of JuneThe programme for the capital's premier showcase for Jewellery brands and designer talent promises to be an outstanding festival where one can enjoy exclusives launches, jewellery fashion shows, designer showcases. There will also be platforms for emerging designers, open workshops and a number of talks from the biggest names in the British Jewellery industry
Jewellery Week and Old Spitalfields Market have once again joined forces to present an innovative showcase of exciting new jewellery designers, fabulous costume and vintage jewellery at the historic London site. Called 'JewelEast' the evetn will take from the 15th - 17th June as part of Jewellery week 2012 and will include workshops and demonstrations for the industry and public.
